Quantitative Fluid Analysis (QFA)

Is it possible for one’s supplements and diet to succeed? The only way it will is if the body chemistry will let it. How does one find out? Measure the saliva and urine chemistry for pH, Oxidative Potential and Mineral Salts.

pH:
-A measure of acidity and alkalinity
-Digestive enzymes will only work in the correct pH range to permit optimal digestion
-Hormones will produce or absorb only in the correct pH range
-A cell’s absorption of nutrition must have the correct pH range in the interstitial fluid between the cell and the blood vessel

Redox (oxidation/reduction potential):
-If oxidation is high, the person may often be tired and not feel well
-If the diet is poor with too many oxidants, the person may have low energy
-If the numbers are right, the person is getting efficient nutrition from the diet
-High saliva oxidative may be an indicator of systemic toxicity

Resistivity (mineralization):
-If minerals are high in the saliva and low in the urine, there may be congestion
-If the minerals are too low in the urine, the body may not be getting rid of salts and acids
-If minerals are low, supplementing minerals is an option
-Is the person getting enough water? The numbers can show it.

The three measurements of pH, Redox and resistivity for urine, saliva and blood will provide a window into nutrition, level of toxicity, congestion, mineralization and nutritional absorption. Evaluating nutrition and supplements with the measurement once per month gives the practitioner evidence that the plan is bringing the background chemistry (some call it the ‘terrain’) into proper balance. Improving nutritional efficiency with the proper balance of background chemistry takes one on the right path to successful health. It is a good idea to see where the numbers are today!

Iodine

For over 100 years, iodine has been known as the element that is necessary for thyroid hormone production. However, it is rare to see any further mention of iodine’s other effects in the body. Iodine is found in each of the trillions of cells in the body. Without adequate iodine levels, life itself is not possible.

Iodine is not only necessary for the production of thyroid hormone, it is also responsible for the production of all of the other hormones in the body. Adequate iodine levels are necessary for proper immune system function. Iodine contains potent antibacterial, antiparasitic, antiviral, and anticancer properties. Iodine is also effective for treating fibrocystic breasts and ovarian cysts.

Approximately 1.5 billion people, about one-third of the earth’s population, live in an area of iodine deficiency as defined by the World Health Organization.

Bioimpedance Analysis (BIA)

Health and well-being are closely tied to the health of the body’s fat-free mass and body cell mass compartments. By focusing attention on these essential mass compartments, therapeutic strategies are more effective because important results can be measured objectively. “Discover your Inner body!”

Customized Multi-Vitamins

Patients who have similar symptoms can have very different metabolic and nutritional needs. Profile tests help target each patient's specific needs by determining their vitamin, mineral, and amino acid insufficiencies, the mitochondrial energy production, the neurotransmitter breakdown, etc...

Identifying metabolic inhibitions allows us to obtain individual tailoring, to create customized multi-vitamin/mineral formulas, to maximize and improve patient outcomes.

First Line Therapy

Our individualized consultations will enable you to follow a diet that takes into account your present state of health, your pH, the foods that you should eat and avoid, your metabolism, and your endocrine system. A diet designed to meet your specific needs will enable you to remain healthy and to avoid the imbalances which previously made you ill.

NLP

We use Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) to find solutions that focus on the positive aspects of your life. NLP avoids long-term therapy thanks to a practical approach that takes into account individual behaviours, abilities, and beliefs. The NLP therapist guides you towards realistic goals that are in harmony with your lifestyle. Using a solutions-oriented approach, the therapist ensures that your good mental health reinforces your improved physical health.

Laboratory Tests

Preventive Approach

Indications:
Atopic diseases, auto-immune diseases, inflammatory diseases, anemia, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, low back pain, diabetes, insulin resistance, obesity, underweight, premature aging, low libido, reduced physical performance, reduced intellectual performance, stress management, premonopausal problems, andropause, recurrent or refractory ENT infections, tendonitis, recurrent or refractory sport injuries.

Fatty Acid Profile:

Purposes Served:
- An effective screening technique that is also very useful for diagnostic of cardiovascular, degenerative, neurological, inflammatory and skin diseases.
- Provides an effective means of assessing the patient’s nutritional state.
- Refines the assessment of micronutrient needs.
- Assists detection of gastrointestinal disordes and intestinal malabsorption.

Oxidative Stress Profile

Purposes Served:
- Provides a quantitative measurement of antioxidant defences and a precise indication of the body’s capabilities to protect itself against free radicals.
- Provides information on the situation with regard to vitamins and trace elements.
- Assesses whether there are excessive free radicals.
- Detects any biochemical damage involving the lipids or nucleic acids, by revealing antibodies against oxidised LDL or 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine.

Nutritional and Free-Radical Profile

Purposes Served:
Provides an overview of:
- Defences against free radicals
- The situation with regard to inflammation
- Atherogenic factors
- Iron metabolism
- The patient’s nutritional state

Frequency Specific Micro-currents (FSM)

Micro-current is current in millionths of an ampere. An ampere is a measure of the movement of electrons past a point. Microamperage current is the same kind of current your body produces on its own within each cell. It is very small; there is
not enough current to stimulate sensory nerves so the current flow cannot be felt. You can tell it is running by watching the conductance meter on the machine.

The frequencies appear to change a variety of conditions and tissues and change pain and function in a large number of clinical conditions. FSM is especially good at treating nerve and muscle pain, inflammation and scar tissue. It increases ATP production up to 500%, increases protein synthesis up to 70%, increases amino acid transport up to 40%, increases electron flow, and increases the membrane potential. Research non published at University of Washington saw the collagen increase up to 14% with 20-day treatments and was amaze with 48% improvement with the elastin for the same period of time.

The microcurrent is used for many conditions such as; pain management, healing an injured athlete, and increase wound healing. Treatments in the US and our clinic are done successfully with fibromyalgia, arthritis, MS and many more.

Sport Massage

A deep musculoskeletal massage targeting pressure points so as to lubricate joints, loosen nodes and stretch muscle fibres. This enables muscles to regain their flexibility.
